About me
I am a chartered clinical psychologist who has been working with adults for over 15 years. I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and I also incorporate other approaches into my work, such as Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy. Following my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at Royal Holloway in 2012. Since 2013, I have trained in Compassion Focused Therapy, which I find can be very helpful for some people, either alongside or instead of traditional CBT.
I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives and aim to work collaboratively developing a joint understanding of how problems have developed, and more importantly what is keeping the problems going, with a view to finding a way to move on.
