Specialises in
- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
About me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has been working with adults for over 20 years. I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Following my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at Royal Holloway in 2012. Since 2013, I have trained in Compassion Focused Therapy, which I find can be very helpful for some people, either alongside or instead of traditional CBT.
I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives and aim to work collaboratively developing a joint understanding of how problems have developed, and more importantly what is keeping the problems going, with a view to finding a way to move on.

My outcomes
Outcomes (self-reported)
In order to evaluate outcomes, I use a goal-driven approach where we identify goals for therapy and then monitor progress during and at the end of therapy.
To evaluate outcomes, I use standardised questionnaire measures, depending on the issue (e.g., Beck Depression Inventory, Beck Anxiety Inventory, Health Anxiety Inventory, Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire).
