About me
I became a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery in 2009 working at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I trained at the Charité in Berlin, at the University of San Francisco and Harvard University. Since 2013 I am an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford.
My daily clinical work focusses on the management of endometriosis, uterine fibroids and infertility. As the Lead of the Oxford Endometriosis CaRe Centre, the largest of its kind in the UK, I am responsible for the management of hundreds of women who are suffering from pelvic pain and infertility. I routinely perform laparoscopic surgery, am actively involved in large clinical and research studies and lead a multidisciplinary team of experts. I chair the European Guideline Committee for the Management of Endometriosis and have been an expert witness for the recently published endometriosis guidelines by the National Institutes for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
