About me

Mr Hany Mostafa is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a special interest in Reproductive Medicine and Assisted Reproduction (IVF). He has been leading the fertility services in the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS trust, Stockton-on-Tees, since 2008. He is also the PR of the Hartlepool Assisted Reproduction Unit (ARU).

Assisted reproduction treatments, including IVF are delivered via a satellite model of care. Most of the treatment is carried out by Mr Mostafa and his team at Hartlepool, with the egg collection and embryo transfer then done by them at the LWC – Darlington.

1) Assisted Reproduction including: IVF, ICSI, IUI, Ovulation induction and surgical sperm retrieval.
2) Investigation and management of male and female infertility.
3) Laparoscopic and hystroscopic surgery.
4) Diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis.
5) Management of tubal factor infertility.

7) Diagnosis and management of abnormal uterine bleeding
