About me

I completed my Doctorate Training in Clinical Psychology in 2001. During this training and since my specialist Continued Professional Development has been in Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. I am accredited with BABCP as a CBT Therapist and have completed Level 4 training in EMDR

My experience ranges from Community Mental Health Team work in secondary care services to leadership roles in setting up and developing primary care therapy services.
I have run a private practice in Bristol since 2005.

I provide highly specialist Assessment, Formulation and Interventions for adults with a range of presenting difficulties. including Response to Trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders (Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, OCD, BDD, Panic and Phobias), depression,Bipolar depression, eating disorders, stress, psychotic disorders and drug dependence. I also train and supervise other professionals to develop and maintain skills in Clinical Psychology and in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
I have published research in the area of Attentional Bias and worked as an associate researcher in the development of treatments in primary care mental health.
