About me

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology at Broomfield Hospital in Essex. I provide private assessment and treatment for gastrointestinal problems, including heartburn, anaemia, bleeding, abdominal pain, anal disorders and change in bowel habit, at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
I qualified from the University College London School of Medicine in 1997. I hold bachelor degrees in medicine and anatomy. I was awarded the MRCP in 2000 and performed academic research in Crohn's disease at St Mark's Academic Institute, London between 2004 and 2006. I obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training in 2008 and since have been on the Specialist Register in both Gastroenterology and General Medicine.
