About me
I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. My major subspecialty interest is Obstetric Anaesthesia and I have been the Clinical Lead for the Obstetric Anaesthesia service for a number of years. I am also involved heavily with anaesthesia for ophthalmic, ENT and urology surgery.
I have representations on various hospital committees including Patient Blood Management and Point of Care testing. I have been involved with major service reconfigurations within the Greater Manchester area.
I have been invited to lecture in various national and international conferences and meetings. I have also been a Council Member in the Manchester Medical Society Section of Anaesthesia.
I have published several book chapters and numerous peer-reviewed publications. I have also had numerous poster and oral presentations in national and international meetings.
