A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the European Society of Cardiology, he holds dual accreditation in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
His interventional cardiology training began at a renowned quaternary Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Centre in Pakistan, followed by advanced specialist training at leading teaching hospitals in the West Midlands and Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. This extensive background has equipped him with a comprehensive skill set across all areas of Cardiology, including interventional procedures, pacemaker implantation, and advanced cardiac imaging.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Nishtar has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and played a key role in driving innovative service developments.
