About me
Professor Jian Farhadi is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, specialist in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery as well as surgery after weight loss.
As a microsurgeon he is able to provide you with all types of reconstructions available today including DIEP, SGAP and TMG flaps.
Prof Farhadi was the past Director of the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital. Prof Farhadi has an exclusive clinical focus on reconstructive breast surgery, aesthetic and corrective breast surgery. As a microsurgeon, he performs more than 160 microsurgical procedures per year. He has innovated a number of procedures over years, e.g. the internal bra - breast lift.
Prof Farhadi gained his medical degree at the University of Basel, Switzerland and the University Piti�-Salpetri� in Paris, France. His general and plastic surgical residencies was completed in Switzerland and Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut
Professor Farhadi is actively involved in teaching and research on the topic of breast augmentation and breast reconstruction and he is invited regularly to international meetings as a lecturer on the subject.
He is author of over 70 publications and several book chapters. Prof Jian Farhadi also is Co-director of the European Master in Breast Surgery, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
He is the Founder and a Trustee of Bra Foundation, Chairman of the London Breast Meeting and he is a reader at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Basel in Switzerland.
