About me
Vijay Bhalaik is a hand and upper limb consultant at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. He specialises in minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder and surgery of hand and wrist.
He also sees patients privately at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral.
He is also an honorary senior lecturer at Edge Hill University and teaches on faculty on various training courses for healthcare professionals both nationally and internationally.
He is the current training programme director for orthopaedics and trauma for Health Education England.
He is an examiner for FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedics.
He is a member of British Orthopaedic Association Training Standards Committee
