About me
I am a Senior Consultant Paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in Paediatrics. I trained at leading teaching hospitals in UK. Having achieved my certificate for specialist training I have been Consultant Paediatrician since 2007. I am also a Fellow of the RCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health). My NHS practise is at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
I am a General Paediatrician and have extensive experience in managing a wide variety of paediatric problems. I am happy to take referrals for all children from birth to 16 years of age.
I have special interest in Paediatric Epilepsy and Neurological disorders. I am the lead for Paediatric epilepsy at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals and run a busy multidisciplinary service. I have been chair for the South East Thames Paediatrics Epilepsy Group.
I have strong interest in teaching and training of junior doctors and medical students. I have been RCPCH tutor for KSS (Kent Surrey and Sussex deanery) paediatric trainees for 8 years. I am the Undergraduate tutor for medical students from Guy's, Kings and St Thomas' Hospitals. I am actively involved with MRCPCH clinical examination of Paediatric trainees.
I am the founding director for The Tunbridge Wells MRCPCH Clinical Courses (www.mrcpchcourses.co.uk)
