Dr Jessica Christie-Sands, Principal Psychologist, CPsychol, CSci, AFBPsS
Dr Jessica Christie-Sands has a considerable portfolio of experience working in a diverse range of professional settings, including further/higher education, frontline statutory and non-statutory services and the NHS. Her early clinical interest in trauma and its consequences developed while completing a PhD on trauma-related violence. She has extensive experience working in the field of Domestic Violence as an Independent Consultant and in a Senior Management capacity developing frontline recovery services. Jessica provides psychological assessment and therapeutic work with children, young people and adults who may be experiencing complex emotional and mental health difficulties. She also has particular skills and expertise in working with the trauma of domestic and sexual violence as well as attachment trauma. In addition to her clinical work, Jessica provides personal injury assessment for Solicitors as well as supervision and consultation to Psychologists and fellow Health Professionals. She is a Chartered Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is also a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, an EMDR Approved Consultant and a Sensorimotor Psychotherapist (Level II qualified).
