About me

I am a friendly and conscientious doctor, used to working hard for my patients. I try to avoid unnecessary hospital tests and treatments - where possible I want my patients to be able to just get on with their normal lives and forget about their heart conditions.

Areas of interest

Angina:-

I am an interventional cardiologist dealing with problems of the coronary arteries (angina, heart attacks). I perform the full range of angioplasty / stent procedures and have a high level of proficiency due to high numbers of cases performed each year, with a low complication rate. I specialise in treating arteries blocked for months or even years (chronic total occlusions). ~

High blood pressure:-

I run a specialist service in high blood pressure (hypertension) and will investigate and treat resistant hypertension. ~

Other cardiology problems:-

I am able to advise and manage a full range of cardiology problems in my clinic.
