About me
Gillian Killiner is an award-winning, world-renowned Specialist Consultant Dietitian with over 30 years of clinical and research experience in human nutrition. She grew up and studied in London, securing a prestigious research position with the World Health Organisation (WHO), focusing on Nutrition and Heart Disease.
Gillian holds a Master's Degree (MSc) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland (1997). Her specialist clinical training was undertaken at the Charter Mark award-winning Dietetic Department at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London.
She has since worked extensively across major hospitals in Northern Ireland, specialising in complex clinical areas including Respiratory Medicine, Oncology, and Haematology.
Gillian is the founder and Clinical Director of 121 Dietitian, a leading nutrition consultancy offering evidence-based dietary programmes tailored to individual needs. After starting a family, she established this service to balance professional excellence with family life.
With personal experience of autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's Thyroiditis) and a family background shaped by chronic illness, Gillian brings deep empathy and understanding to her clients. She now helps individuals worldwide manage and reverse chronic health conditions, optimise gut health, and improve quality of life through bespoke nutritional strategies.
