About me
After graduating from Cambridge University and The Royal London Hospital Medical School, I returned to the north to continue training in the Yorkshire region.
I won several prizes for my research and was awarded an MD for my thesis on the Genetics of Head & Neck Cancer. I have operated in Bangladesh (through a charitable organization) and have benefited greatly from visiting centres of excellence in Bordeaux (the Georges Portmann Institute) and Los Angeles (the House Clinic).
I have been a Consultant ENT / Head & Neck Surgeon since 2008. I am Head of Clinical Service (HoCS) at The Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (MYH) and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds (for my role in medical student education). I am also a Consultant Appraiser.
