About me
Mr Streeter graduated from Cambridge University in 1992 with First Class Honours in Medical Sciences, and then went onto University of Oxford Medical School qualifying in 1995.
A period of postgraduate research into the molecular biology of bladder cancer resulted in the award of a Doctorate from the Uinversity of Oxford in 2002.
Following specialist training in the Oxford Region, Mr Streeter was awarded the Gold Medal for the FRCS (Urology) examination in 2007 for the whole of the UK and Ireland.
Several periods of overseas training in the USA and Egypt have been spent furthering interests in Robotic Prostate and Bladder surgery.
Mr Streeter has served as Cancer Lead and Departmental Lead at East Kent Hospital Department of Urology where he is now the longest serving Consultant.
Specialist interests include all aspects of prostatic disease in particular Da Vinci Robotic Prostatectomy and Active Surveillance, and bladder disorders including cancer, including Robotic Cystectomy.
Mr Streeter introduced both Urolift and Rezum (steam) treatments for prostate enlargement to East Kent - new minimally invasive treatments with less side effects than traditional options. He is now leading on the introduction of Focal Therapy for prostate cancer.
