About me

Urogynaecology is the speciality dealing with pelvic floor disorders in women including complex reconstruction field of surgery.

Since 2008, I had a prestigious status of being the only clinical academic in the field of Urogynaecology in the UK who is accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) as a Consultant Subspecialist Urogynaecologist.

I have been the consultant urogynaecologist of referral in the North East of Scotland since 2008. I regularly receive referrals from my colleagues and GPs and manage all types of pelvic floor disorders in women (Prolapse, Urinary Incontinence, Bladder Disorders, Pelvic Pain, Sexual Dysfunction).

I regularly collect feedback from my patients and proud to be consistently highly rated by my patients.

In University of Aberdeen: I have established a portfolio of research for studying pelvic floor disorders in women. My research in this field is particularly important with the rise in the elderly population in the western world.
