About me

After my basic qualification I specialized in general medicine followed by ten years of comprehensive training in Gastroenterology covering all aspects of this specialty starting at Charing Cross Hospital in London followed by higher specialty training initially in Wales and later in the North East of England.
The highlight of my extensive training culminated in two years at Freeman Hospital Newcastle where I was exposed to complex and advanced management of patients with all aspects of gastroenterology and in particular patients with cancers of the stomach, gullet, bowel, pancreas and Liver as well as those who have had Liver Transplant, complicated inflammatory bowel disease and those with pancreatic disease.
