About me

I was appointed as a Colorectal and General surgical consultant in Swansea in 2007, after completing my training in London, Wales and Manchester. My speciality interest includes all aspects of colorectal surgery. I have expertise in hernia surgery.
I was awarded a higher surgical degree in 2005 by the University of London for work investigating the role of insulin growth factors in the development and progression of colorectal cancer.
I undertake private consultations at Sancta Maria Hospital, Swansea and BMI Werndale in Carmarthen.

I was made an honorary associate professor in Swansea University in 2014. I examine for The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Swansea University. I review articles for several journals. I am a member of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain & Ireland and The British Hernia Society.
