About me
Mr Krishna Moorthy is a Consultant Surgeon in Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust and a Senior Lecturer in surgery in Imperial College London. His clinical interests are general surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery for cancer and bariatric surgery. His regular practice includes laparoscopic gall bladder removal, laparoscopic appendicectomy, all types of groin and abdominal hernia repairs. He specialises in advanced laparoscopic surgery for upper gastrointestinal conditions such as cancers of the stomach and oesophagus, hiatus hernia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and swallowing disorders such as oesophageal achalasia.He also specialises in bariatric surgery. He regularly performs laparoscopic gastric banding, laparoscopic gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve Gastrectomy.
