I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Ramsay Duchy Hospital (Truro) .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
I graduated in 1992 with an MA honours degree in neurological sciences from Cambridge University and gained my medical degree BM BCH from Oxford Medical School in 1995.
I was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOPhth) in 2006.
I started my ophthalmology career in Taunton, then spent 8 years training in the West of Scotland. There I developed my interest in paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and squints and did a clinical fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2004. I have published and lectured on visual processing disorders in brain-damaged children. I am a clinical appraiser for Ramsay Health UK, and have served as College tutor and Regional advisor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. At Treliske I am lead consultant for the development of the cataract service and am trained as a Coach and Mentor for clinical leaders within the organization.
