About me

I am a Consultant in Pain Medicine with experience from 3 healthcare systems. I got trained in East Yorkshire and Warwickshire Schools of Anaesthesia in the UK and successfully obtained the Fellowship in Pain Medicine from the University of Western Ontario, Canada (2005-06).

I believe in and practice evidence based medicine encompassing the bio-psycho-social aspects of pain management. I have a special interest in minimally invasive injection therapies, and am skilled in performing ultrasound guided pain relieving injections.

I have authored 4 books, written chapters and have many journal publications. My research interest includes low back pain, pain relief after knee surgery, opioids in chronic pain, and mental defeat in chronic pain.
