About me
I have more than 25years experience working in the NHS acute Sector Glasgow; Southern General Hospital, and NHS Lanarkshire Community Dietetics as a Specialist Dietitian with the Eating Disorder Service.
I have worked within the private sector as Lead Dietitian in The Priory Glasgow, Bariatric Dietitian; Shawfair and Murrayfield Hospitals Edinburgh, and with Diet Scotland my own company founded in 2005.
In 2006 I affiliated my services with Bodymorphfitness and work closely with this company seeing patients who are post operative, or who have chronic diseases and who are trying to improve their health and fitness while dealing with disease states.
I was also guest lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University for 6 years with the Department of Biosciences.
I work closely with my psychology and psychiatry colleagues combining therapy with evidence based nutritional intervention and mindfulness. .
