About me

I provide specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based psychological treatment to a wide variety of adult clients suffering from depression, anxiety, phobia, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bereavement, stress, and occasionally psychiatric disorders such as psychosis and bipolar disorder in conjunction with consultant psychiatric colleagues.

I work integratively, but mainly within a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy framework (CBT), helping to empower clients that I work with to make the changes they wish to make in their lives to relieve distress and unhappiness.

I work as an Expert Witness for solicitors and provide court reports concerning client's psychological presentations and current needs, providing prognoses and treatment recommendations.

Major insurance companies request my services to provide detailed psychological assessments including specialised psychometric testing and treatment for their customers. These primarily centre around PTSD and travel anxiety resulting from road traffic accidents, for which I provide trauma focused CBT and specialist EMDR interventions, with a high success rate.

I work as a Rehabilitation Psychologist, working with clients referred by companies to assess and treat people who wish to return to work, but who are suffering from psychological conditions which require intervention.

Media work has involved contributing to magazine articles including the Lighterlife magazine, Grazia, and consultancy work for independent journalists and writers with regards to specific psychological issues such as eating disorders, general mental health and wellbeing.
