About me
As the Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon, I am one the main providers of breast services in the Swindon and Wiltshire Area. I am one of only a handful of UK specialists trained to offer Intra-Operative Radiotherapy (TARGIT-IORT) in the treatment of breast cancer (www.targit-iort.co.uk). I am an expert in breast cancer risk and HRT.
As a general surgeon I am the senior provider of laparoscopic hernia surgery in the area, providing keyhole hernia operations since 2008. (www.theherniaclinic.com)
My role as Royal College of Surgeon Surgical Tutor for the Great Western Hospital (NHS) allows to train junior surgeons in laparoscopic techniques and Breast Surgery.
In my spare time I work with the Mercy Ships charity training West African surgeons in safe surgical techniques.
