About me

Dr Pardeep Grewal is a medical doctor, consultant psychiatrist and associate professor of psychiatry.

He studied medicine at St Bart's and The Royal London School of Medicine (MBBS), neuroscience at University College London (BSc) and addictions at Kings College London (MSc). He is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych).

He has been a leader of several NHS services in London for more than 10 years. He has delivered a Saturday clinic at Cognacity for the past two of these. His areas of interest are general, addiction and occupational psychiatry. He has particular clinical expertise in treating alcohol problems, drug addiction and co-existing mental health conditions.

His research interests include treatment of novel psychoactive compounds. He is a very experienced expert witness in court and employment cases. He works with the Financial Services Authority, General Dental Council and General Pharmaceutical Council. He is a Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission. He teaches at UCL Medical School and lectures nationally.

When not working he spends his time cycling, swimming and reading. He has endured the pleasure and pain of supporting Arsenal FC for more than 25 years.
