Mr Mathias Winkler is a leading consultant urologist in London. Having trained in Germany, New York, and England, he is now at the forefront of his field combining the latest technologies and methods in the treatment of his patients. His core expertise relates to prostate cancer manegement including PSA and MRI screening, chosing the best manegemnt and robotic prostatectomy.

Mr Winkler works at some of London's best hospitals, including Charing Cross Hospital, Cromwell hospital, OneWelbeck clinic and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. A dedicated specialist with versatile expertise, some of his main clinical treatments are relating to surgical pelvic oncology, prostate cancer, pelvic pain and urinary symptoms.

As well as writing extensively for peer-reviewed journals, he is involved in the training of future surgeons. He is dedicated to teaching and training, with a previous position of training programme director for urology in North London, ensuring that his peers and new doctors are trained to a high standard.

Mr Winkler holds a reserach position at the Institute for Global Helath Improvement at Imperial College London, and is a trustee and board member at The Mulberry Centre, a cancer support centre, with a focus on men's health.

Great patient care is of the utmost importance to him and, as a champion of men's health, he aims to make cutting edge treatments more readily accessible.
