About me

I have been an Oncoplastic breast consultant for 19 years and am an expert in breast cancer and cosmetic breast surgery. I am recognised on the the national cosmetic breast implant register.


I specialise in breast cancer surgery with special interest in lumpectomies combined with breast reduction (therapeutic mammoplasty- breast reduction for cancer), Sentinel lymph node biopsy, Immediate and Delayed Breast Reconstruction using Acellular Dermal Matrix (eg Strattice, Surgimend, Veritas and Braxon) and Lattisimus dorsi breast reconstructions. I also specialise in Breast Reduction, Augmentation and Mastopexy (Breast Uplift) and treating developmental breast anomalies. I also performs nipple reconstruction, areolar tattooing and Lipomodelling.

I have treated over 1,000 breast cancer patients. I have performed more than 100 breast reconstruction, reductions and augmentations in both my NHS and private practice.

I am Principal Investigator for international breast cancer clinical trials at Macclesfield District General Hospital. I am the lead breast reconstructive surgeon at MDGH

I am also Senior Clinical Advisor in Breast Surgery to the Parlimentary and Health service Ombudsman.
