About me
Dr Sood has been a Consultant Paediatrician since 1998. He has over thirty years of clinical experience. He has worked in several international hospitals. He has trained in the UK in tertiary paediatric units based in the university teaching hospitals. He has received training in neonatal intensive care (level 3), paediatric intensive care (PICU), neurology, respiratory and asthma, gastroenterology, endocrinology, diabetes, ambulatory paediatrics, allergy, developmental paediatrics, community paediatrics and general paediatrics.
He specialises in general paediatrics in all aspects of children’s health and development, urgent medical problems, allergy, immunotherapy and food challenges.
Dr Sood holds general paediatrics and allergy clinics. He deals with food, nuts, skin, respiratory and drug allergies. He undertakes open food challenges under medical supervision and arranges adrenalin autoinjector and Basic Life Support (BLS) training for families. He does immunotherapy clinics for allergies not responding to conventional treatments e.g. grass pollen, tree pollen and house dust mite allergy.
Dr Sood holds 8 Clinical Excellence Awards from The Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards (ACCEA), an independent advisory committee on distinction awards.
