About me
Matthew Tutton has 19 years experience as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon. He is specialist in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He is an expert endoscopist undertaking gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He has held many roles at Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals, including divisional director for surgery, director of research and director of innovation.
His practice includes robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery for bowel surgery. All types of hernia repairs and gallstone surgery, haemorrhoid treatments including THD, and minimally invasive techniques for fistula and pilonidal surgery. He also performs transanal endoscopic microsurgery surgery (TEM) for the treatment of large rectal polyps and early rectal cancers.
