About me
Dr Lucia Pozo-Garcia is Consultant Dermatologist working at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, actively involved in the skin cancer service. She also works in several private clinics in London and is included at the GMC Specialist Register as Dermatologist in the UK.
As dermatologist, Dr Pozo-Garcia specialises in diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions. Skin cancer and pigmented lesions (mole checking under dermoscopy) are the main interest fields of Dr Pozo-Garcia, who is one of the few dermatologists in the UK specifically trained in dermoscopy. She also greatly enjoys General Dermatology.
Dr Pozo-Garcia, MD, PhD, qualified from the University of Cadiz (Spain) in 1990 and undertook postgraduate dermatologist training in Seville (Spain) in 1995. In 1996, she completed her PhD thesis on sweat gland tumours.
Dr Pozo-Garcia was working as Consultant Dermatologist at Homerton University Hospital, London, since 1999, where she was the lead clinician for skin cancer.
