About me

Mr Kim is a specialist in hip and knee surgery. The focus of his practice is robot-arm assisted total hip, total knee and partial knee replacements.

He pioneered robotic assisted partial and total knee replacement in the North of England, and was the first to complete the triad of robot assisted partial, total knee and hip replacements in the North West. Winston Kim graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1996, completed higher specialist training in the North West in England, with a further year of Fellowship training in Vancouver, Canada, a British Orthopaedic Foundation Travelling Fellowship visiting the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and the Hospital of Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, USA, was recipient of the PLUS Travel Award to the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
