About me
I am a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics specialising in knee, shoulder and elbow problems and trauma. I have a particular interest in Sports Injuries, in particular knee ligament and cartilage injuries, shoulder instability and rotator cuff tendon injuries. I graduated from St Andrew's University (BSc in Medical Science) before completing my undergraduate medical training at Edinburgh University (MB ChB). I completed my basic and higher surgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery (FRCSEd(Tr. & Orth.). During this period I was President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association. I completed a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Cardiff Metropolitan University (PgDip SEM) and became a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine (FFSEM(UK)).
