About me
I studied medicine at Cambridge University where I graduated with first class honours and a distinction in Surgery.
After completion of basic and higher surgical training in East Anglia and the North, I completed International Trauma and Lower Limb Arthoplasty Fellowships in Melbourne and Perth in Australia.
I was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the County Durham & Darlington NHS foundation Trust in 2007.
My special interests lie in the fields of hip and knee arthroplasty, revision lower limb arthoplasty and periprosthetic fracture trauma surgery.
I am also a keen researcher and educationalist. I am an honorary clinical senior lecturer at Newcastle University, Royal College Surgical Tutor and Intercollegiate MRCS examiner.
