About me
I was the first UK trainee to be offered a national training number in pure Thoracic Surgery. I accepted the London training number and then spent 6 years being fully trained in all aspects of Thoracic Surgery.
I have been voted one of the top trainers in the UK by the trainees.
Areas of interest
Ms Emma Beddow has special expertise in lung cancer surgery, major airway surgery and stenting, mediastinal tumours, metastatectomy, benign and malignant pleural disease and pectus surgery.
Ms Emma Beddow has experience in bronchoplastic resections, including distal airway reconstruction, extended resections for lung cancer, tracheal surgery, endobronchial cryotherapy, chest wall tumours, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery and surgery for emphysema.
Miss Beddow co-authored the Oxford Handbook of Cardiothoracic Surgery, published by the Oxford University Press
