About me

I have been working as a consultant psychiatrist for the last 19 years and I always aim to provide a high quality service to my patients and carers. I was the clinical tutor for the Black Country Training Scheme and a clinical director at the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, until I stepped down to focus more on clinical work. I also served as a medical examiner and supervisor with the General Medical Council (GMC) for their fitness to practise proceedings. I am a general adult psychiatrist with special interest in adult ADHD. In addition to clinical and academic work, I am interested in mental health law and I was a specialist medical member of the first tier tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, to exercise the mental health jurisdiction within the chamber.
