About me

Main Clinical Interests - all methods of contraception (including coils and implants), menopause and HRT, well woman screening, and medical gynaecology (eg: PCOS and irregular periods).

Christine Robinson graduated from Cambridge University in 1982. She trained in Gynaecology and Reproductive and Sexual Health in London (St Thomas' Hospital and St Mary's Hospital) and Cambridge (Addenbrooke's Hospital) gaining her FRCOG and FFSRH. She holds the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Advanced Certificate of Menopause Care.

Her first Consultant appointment was in Bedfordshire where she was also the Trust Medical Director and Clinical Governance Lead.She developed one of the first medical gynaecology units in the community which received a national award.Laterly she was a consultant at St Thomas and Guys NHS Foundation Trust, retiring in 2012 from the NHS and continues as a Consultant at the Lister Hospital, Chelsea and consults in Harley Street.

Christine was the President of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and member of the RCOG Council from 2008 - 2011.she established the speciality of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and lead the development of the specialist curriculum. she has taught and lectured extensively .Publications include those on clinical topics and clinical governance.

She offers a holistic service combining aspects of sexual and reproductive health with medical gynaecology producing individualised tailored care for each patient.
