About me
Dr Bharti Seth is an esteemed consultant anaesthetist and chronic pain management specialist who treats back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain alongside migraine, hip pain and knee pain, based in Cambridge. She privately practises at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and her NHS base is The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Seth, is lead clinician in her NHS role, is a highly-experienced professional who believes that to successfully manage the impact of persistent pain in her patient's everyday lives, aligning the balance between physical and emotional health should be addressed.
She aims to help her patients navigate this journey by utilising her professional experience and clinical knowledge. This has been developed over years of study at respected institutions, where Dr Seth obtained various qualifications. These include an MBBS and an MD in Anaesthesia, both from Punjabi University, India.
Dr Seth, acquired her FFPMRCA from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, and also undertook a course in musculoskeletal medicine by the British Institute of Musculoskeletal Medicine. She expertly undertakes various pain intervention procedures alongside those mentioned above. These include medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation procedures for the cervical and lumbar spine, epidurals using midline, caudal and transforaminal approaches and nerve root blocks for radicular pain. She also does ultrasound-guided procedures for peripheral neuropathies, which include occipital nerve blocks for headaches, supra scapular nerve blocks for shoulder pain and genicular nerve blocks for knee pain, as well as pulsed denervation of these nerves as appropriate.
Dr Seth's clinical research has featured in respected peer-reviewed journals and she has also presented her work at various national and international conferences.
