About me
Dr Seaton studied at the University of Cambridge 1990-93 and Oxford qualifying in Clinical Medicine in 1996. He trained as a Dermatologist in London at Imperial College and University College Hospitals. He completed a DM degree (similar to a PhD) at Imperial College, London. He was a Consultant Dermatologist at Royal Free London for twelve years and he was Clinical Lead of the Royal Free Dermatology Department for seven years.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and a Member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the British Society of Dermatological Surgery.
Dr Seaton undertakes dermatology clinics for all conditions, but has a particular interest in the treatment of acne, rosacea, skin cancer and skin surgery and has been invited to speak about these conditions at national and international dermatologist meetings.
Dr Seaton is one of the few dermatologists in the UK trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a dermatologist provided, scar-minimising surgical technique for basal cell carcinoma, the commonest type of skin cancer, which has the highest cure rate of any treatment.
