This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Sharma has trained in general and vitreo-retinal ophthalmic surgery having completed Fellowship training both at St. Thomas' Hospital and Moorfield's Eye Hospital in London. He has specialised in cataract, refractive and lens related problems including diseases of the retina as an accredited NHS consultant at the Birmingham Eye Centre. He treats patients with macular holes, puckers and vitreo-macular traction plus cataract and complications from cataract surgery and previous trauma.
In addition his cataract surgery is tailored to each individual after a thorough assessment of the patient's needs and previous ophthalmic history including the use of extended range of focus lens implants. He regularly treats urgent cases of retinal detachment and its associated complications.
He is recognised as an expert witness in medico-legal work.
