About me

Jon is a consultant Rheumatologist and Sports Medicine Consultant who was the lead consultant for Lower Limb Rehabilitation in the Armed Forces from 2010-13. He has extensive experience in rheumatological conditions, sports injuries and injury rehabilitation in the NHS, armed forces and elite professional sport. He is the Senior Medical Officer for the Welsh football team and also Surrey Cricket Club. He consults to the Royal Ballet. He was the quality lead on the Joint Royal Colleges Specialist Advisory Committee in Sport and Exercise Medicine between 2011-13 and is currently the chairman of the Royal College of Physicians Sport and Exercise Medicine Committee. He is an Honorary principal lecturer in Sport and exercise Medicine at Cardiff metropolitan University
