About me
Mr Banim has been a consultant since 2006. His main interests are hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, and ACL reconstruction. He also consults on a range of sports and soft tissue injuries, affecting the hip, knee, and leg.
Mr Banim has lead on the introduction of enhanced recovery, providing a better, and safer recovery process for patients undergoing joint replacement. He has been the lead for Orthopaedic Surgery, and trauma services at the Countess of Chester.
Mr Banim qualified from London University in 1993, and then trained in London, before embarking on specialist training at Oswestry and Stoke. He has done fellowships in Wrightington and America, and is a member of British Orthopaedic Association, British Hip Society, and British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK)
