About me
Mr Ashok has had extensive experience in General Orthopaedics & Trauma having worked in this field since 1990. After completion of his higher surgical training on the South Trent rotation based in Leicester, he has taken a Consultant post at Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust, Sutton Coldfield.
Mr Ashok aims to provide a high-quality, comprehensive orthopaedic service. His special interests include lower limb surgery. He has been performing minimally invasive total hip replacements in large numbers, with highly successful results and immense patient satisfaction. He also does foot and ankle surgery including total ankle replacement and ankle arthroscopy. He also performs large numbers of total knee replacement and treats sports injuries including arthroscopic ACL reconstruction with hamstring tendons.
He is actively envolved in teaching medical and postgraduate students and has acted as examiner for medical students. He regularly contributes to postgraduate training and research and has presented several papers at National and International conferences. He has written several chapters in orthopaedic books.
