About me
Rashmi is one of a very small number of female Consultant Urological Surgeons in the South West London and Surrey area thus offering patients a unique opportunity to consult a female doctor for any urology, kidney or bladder problem. In addition to her general urology practice and experience with female urinary problems, she offers laser and keyhole kidney stone surgery.
She is one of the lead consultants in the Stone Unit at St George's Hospital.
Rashmi Singh trained at Guys and St Thomas' Medical School. She had a diverse training in the South Thames region in all areas of general urology and developed a sub specialist expertise in kidney stone and upper tract disease. She completed an MD thesis in prostate cancer genetics at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. She has had publications in a number of scientific journals and textbooks of urology.
She was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon to Kingston and St George's Hospitals in 2006.
Rashmi is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). She is a Quality Assurance & Accreditation Committee member at the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rashmi is actively involved in medical training and education and is the Training Programme Director for Urology in South London
