About me

I am a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine with specialist interest in cough, breathlessness, lung cancer and allergy. I did my undergraduate training in Leeds qualifying as a doctor in 1995.
I then trained as a respiratory specialist in Oxford between 2000 and 2005. I finished my training in 2005 and have been working since then as a Consultant in the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS trust.
During my time here I have set up a number of services including lung cancer diagnostics, lung cancer screening and complex asthma pathways.
I am experienced in specialised interventional procedures such as EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound) and difficult bronchoscopies.
I manage patients with entire range of respiratory conditions including asthma, allergy, bronchiectasis, COPD, lung cancer, lung fibrosis, lung infections including TB, pulmonary nodules, sarcoidosis, sleep apnoea, unexplained cough and breathlessness.
My aim is to have very patient-focused approach to care and I believe in providing high standard of care. I have excellent feedback from patients focusing on clear communication and giving patient choice. My aim is to give attention to your details to understand your concerns and tailor your treatment accordingly.
