Consultant in General Internal Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology with special interest in neuro-endocrinology.
Dr. Darzy acquired his dual specialist certification (CCST) in general medicine and diabetes & endocrinology in 2006. He had worked as a Consultant Physician, Diabetologist and Endocrinologist at East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust since August 2006 until May 2025. He left the NHS in May 2025 to focus on private and medico-legal work
His endocrine clinical research and sub-specialised endocrine training at the Christie Hospital NHS Trust in Manchester between 2000 and 2003 and the subsequent intensive training at Barts and the London Hospitals between 2003 and 2006 have provided him with breadth of experience in diabetes, general and complex endocrine diseases, adolescent endocrinology, infertility, obesity, metabolic and bone disorders and endocrine cancer. He had extensive research experience which mainly involved hormonal complications of cancer treatment and pituitary disorders with numerous novel publications and reviews in this field.
Through his links and membership with various professional bodies, Dr. Darzy always endeavours to maintain his knowledge up-to-date with advances and progress in the management of diabetes and endocrine disease.
