About me

Uniquely qualified ( FRCP and FRCS) and pioneered consultant delivered Echo-Cardiology services for Cardiac Surgery at Oxford Heart Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital in the last 20 years, and at Harley Street Clinic in recent years. Have performed more than 9,000 TOE assessments for over 6,000 complex cardiac surgery, including over 900 mitral valve repair cases with successful rate of 99%; and more than 600 complex aortic surgeries with excellent surgical outcomes. Extensive echo experience in supporting pre-op and post-op patients' management in ITU. Having 30 year research experiences in cardiac surgical physiology, myocardial function and heart valve prosthesis haemodynamics, completed 6 FDA/CE Mark studies for new heart valve prostheses. Skilled in Clinical Research, Customer Service and Hospitals. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on Surgical Echo-Cardiology from Royal Brompton Hospital & Imperial College London, and lead a Core Echo Image Lab at Oxford University for clinical trial in Marfan patient treatment and published as a lead author in top medical journal The Lancet.
