About me
Dr Creaney is a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine with interests in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injuries and exercise medicine.
As well as treating musculoskeletal injuries and pain, he sees Concussion, Fatigued athletes and other problems unique to sport.
His practice is across The Wilmslow Hospital, BMI The Alexandra Hospital, Spire Manchester and the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance (M.I.H.P).
He is also a Team Doctor with Great Britain Gymnastics and in the past, GB Taekwondo, Liverpool FC (Women) and British Athletics.
He qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2001 and became a Consultant in 2009. His training rotation in London rotated through DMRC Headley Court, RNOH Stanmore, The Olympic Medical Institute and The Royal London Hospital.
He has travelled extensively internationally with British Athletics to multiple championships and also attended Commonwealth Games, Olympics and World Medical Games.
Dr Creaney has an interest in spinal intervention for back pain and sciatica and performs epidural and facet joint injections on a regular basis as well as shoulder, hip, knee and ankle injections.
