About me

I am an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and work with adults and children. I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), as a Practitioner Psychologist.

I have over 20 years experience working in the NHS in other health and social care settings, and independently.

I work with people across the lifespan who are experiencing psychological/mental health difficulties, and draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit the individual person's needs. I offer short, medium and longer term therapy.

In our initial sessions we will develop together a shared understanding (or formulation) of your difficulties and challenges. We will then talk about what therapy choices might be best for you, and the goals you would like to work towards. The therapies I offer are informed by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines.

Over the course of sessions, we will work together to reduce your distress and improve your psychological well-being. We will regularly review our progress together, in order to make sure we are on the right track.

We will also focus on developing your understanding and skills to help you maintain your progress and well-being when our sessions have ended.
