About me

I am a Consultant Haematologist at the QE (University Hospitals Birmingham) and Clinical Service Lead for Haematology at Birmingham Women's Hospital. I am an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Birmingham; other roles include Clinical Director of UK NEQAS blood coagulation and Chair of the British Society of Haematology Haemostasis and Thrombosis guidelines taskforce. I have a national clinical impact award, a previous annual UHB Best in Clinical Care award and am a proud recipient of a Royal College of Pathologist Achievement Award.
